We were out of the hotel early and used the hotel car to ferry us to the airport. In true Jago style we were there with plenty of time to spare so could have a leisurely breakfast and relax as the time passes.
It was only a shortish flight of a couple of hours in a small prop plane but some of the countryside was amazing. We flew up the coast the whole way and all you could see was miles of golden beach with crashing surf backed up by lush green rainforest. Small tracks to odd little houses were the only signs of civilisation for miles and miles. You could see large rivers winding to the sea but also dried up creeks winding down from mountains.
Coffs is only a small airport and it didn't take long to get out and get a cab to the house in the small Coffs suburb called Korora. It's always an exciting time getting to the house as you never really know what to expect. We weren't disappointed with what we were going to find.
The house was only built less than a year ago and it was big. We were greeted in the hall with tiled floors and a wooden stairs with glass balustrade. Downstairs had an integral double garage with Land Rover and Mazda inside both at our disposal. There was a study, lounge area, laundry room, bathroom and two bedrooms. Upstairs we had a large open plan kitchen, diner, lounge with a door off to the main bedroom and it's walk in wardrobe and large ensuite bathroom with double showers and sinks. The upstairs lounge and double door off to a balcony which overlooked the sea and the landscaped gardens below. The open plan area was almost all surrounded by glass which let the sun stream in. I think we'll like it here.
